Tentative Dates: July 6 – 10, 2026
Burnell Hackman was named Convention Coordinator by the St. Louis Chapter Executive Board and the National Council.
Burnell is working with James Thomashower and Andy Andy Anastasi representing the firm contracted by the National Council to find a suitable hotel in St. Louis.
Meetings will be held with the entire St. Louis Chapter membership to “Brainstorm” the convention and have member volunteer for committees.
The St. Louis Chapter is sponsoring sessions open to the entire chapter membership where all voices within the chapter will be heard and help develop the “big picture” of what the convention might be like. Including a Mission Statement and motto.
Members of the chapter will be given the opportunity to indicate in writing their preferences regarding areas in which they would like to work. They will also be asked to suggest venues and performers for the convention. Those members who are unable to attend the brainstorming session we be invited, through the chapter newsletter and emails, to submit their preferences so that all will have an equal opportunity. Please understand that not everyone will get his or her first choice, and that not everyone will be appointed as an actual committee member, though every effort should be made to assign members to volunteer responsibilities in the areas for which they have expressed preferences.
Two in-person social distancing sessions and one on-line session will be held.
