Interim Music Director

Grace United Methodist Church St. Louis is seeking an Interim Music Director. This part-time position is expected to be for a duration of 8 months.  As Grace UMC is a newly merged church from two pre existing congregations, the interim Director of Music will need to lead, stabilize, and nurture the music ministry as part of our growth into a merged community.

  • Comfort and dexterity in accompanying a variety of musical styles from traditional Anglican hymnody and chant, to contemporary pop, to Gospel.

Music Ministry Director

Coordinator of Liturgical Music

St. Theodore, a parish of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, located in the St. Charles County suburb of Flint Hill is seeking a Coordinator of Liturgical Music who can grow our liturgical music program by recruiting parishioners for an adult choir and a children’s choir.

This part-time position undertakes the task of organizing and coordinating the parish’s liturgical music. This position will serve as the primary accompanist for parish liturgies, recruit and rehearse with cantors, and schedule volunteer accompanists as needed for the 5:00 pm Saturday Mass, 9:00 am and 11:00 am Sunday Masses, as well as the 8:00 am Friday All-School Mass. Ideally, this position will form, direct, and accompany an adult choir at the 9:00 am Sunday Mass and a children’s choir for special Sunday Masses and occasional All-School Masses.
