Minutes from September 24th meeting were approved unanimously by motion from Regina and seconded by Bob.
Burnell reported for Mike that we have a balance of $16,750.40.
Dean’s Report: Request was made for a board member to head the nominating committee. Cathy Cassy volunteered. If anyone is interested or knows of one interested in being part of the class of 2022, inform Burnell or Cathy before Thanksgiving.
There is a new Regional Convener, name to be announced. Bill Wade’s new title is: Chair of Regional Selection Committee.
Sub-Dean’s Report: Four people are needed for the Master Class with Jennifer Pascual on November 5th. AGO members receive half-off ticket price for the November 4th concert if they use the code AGO when ordering. Ticket price would be $8.50.
Stephen Eros may be interested in playing November 5th at Peace Lutheran.
February Flourish Report: Saturday, February 9th at Kirkwood United Methodist Church. Plans are moving forward: brochure draft is being crafted and should be ready November 1; Brent is setting up on-line payments; the lunch lady is set; and exhibits are lined-up.
OPUS – Nancy’s husband broke his hip, so please note: OPUS publication date will be delayed for November.
POE – Planning and organization continues for the July 28-August 2, 2019 event.
King of Instruments: Sponsors are needed to help the program grow and flourish. Notify Burnell if you are interested in being on a committee to grow the program.
Registrar/Membership: Regina andLisa continue to update membership database. At present there are 151 current paid members. There are four Chapter Friends. The new Directories were mailed
Social Media: Rene is looking into Drop Box as a more effective means of getting information out to Nancy, OPUS Editor, and to Rene for publicity. He noted a change in site usage from job search to POE, Educational Resources and Careers.
