Organist

St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Sullivan, MO is seeking a part-time organist or organist/choir master to begin leading us in music at our Sunday Liturgy as soon as possible. At present, responsibilities include hymn and liturgical accompaniment for the Sunday 11 AM Mass and also the Holy Days of Obligation Masses (always at 7 PM). If interested in being choirmaster as well, be advised the all-volunteer choir will need your help to become better vocalists. They rehearse an hour before Sunday Liturgy, but also on Tuesday evenings at 7 PM. Additional hours can be expected during Holy Week and Easter. Possible wedding and funeral work as well, and occasional mid-week services as available. The Pastor, an amateur Bach scholar, loves good music and is willing to pay for it. Music Director

St. John’s United Church of Christ of Smithton, IL is seeking a part-time Music Director for 10-15 hours per week. The Music Director will select, play and lead music for worship services. They will collaborate with the worship committee and pastor, and also establish opportunities for other music-related activities within the church. St. John’s has a new Boston upright piano and new Rogers Imagine 235 Digital Organ, as well as 3 octaves of Suzuki hand chimes and an established chancel choir. Director of Music
