DESCRIPTION:Part of the Con Spirito Concert Series at The First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood. \n\n\n\nThe Gateway Ringers is an auditioned community choir\, comprised of handbell ringers from the St. Louis metropolitan area. Our mission is to inspire excellence in musicianship and heighten awareness of handbell music. The group was formed in the fall of 1995. The Gateway Ringers are members of the Handbell Musicians of America at the Area VIII and national levels. Gateway performs using six octaves of Malmark handbells & six octaves of Malmark Choirchimes®. The Kirkwood Baptist Church graciously provides rehearsal space. The group is organized as a not-for-profit organization\, and auditions are held every two years.

DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, October 5th\, 2025\, at 3:00 pm \n\n\n\nPart of the Con Spirito Concert Series at First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood. \n\n\n\nThe St. Louis Chamber Soloists was founded in 2021 as a 501c3 non-profit by four members of the St. Louis string community. The string orchestra performs without a conductor\, and works collectively and democratically\, which lends itself to dynamic and innovative interpretations of music old and new. Leadership is valued from each individual. Each musician is a leader and contributor; to play\, plan\, and promote the music as a collective. The group performs regularly throughout St.Louis and employs some of the finest local musicians. St. Louis Chamber Soloists concerts include standards of the string orchestra repertoire as well as music by contemporary and under-represented composers.
