The church is located in the Belleville Historic District, a turn-of-the-century church noted for its classic architecture and stained glass windows. Instruments include a 17-rank Kilgen pipe organ, grand piano, and handbells. Experience with Catholic liturgical music, a variety of musical styles, and both organ and piano skills are preferred.

St. Paul's Evangelical Church (affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America) is a midsized congregation in Creve Coeur, MO, seeking a music director (half-time position) for the traditional worship service.   The traditional music ministry includes an adult SATB choir, adult handbell choir, occasional children's vocal and handbell choirs, and instrumental music.  The preferred candidate would be a committed Christian whose primary responsibilities include administrating the ministry and directing the adult choir, with preferred secondary skills including serving as the primary organist and directing additional ensembles based upon the applicant's gifting and skills.  The main sanctuary is home to a 29-rank Quimby pipe organ (built 1999) and 2 grand pianos.

First Church Of Christ, Scientist of Clarkson Valley, MO is currently auditioning for Sunday organists. This position requires a repertoire of religious music and accompaniment of a religious vocal solo on Sundays.  Individuals intereseted in either full-time or substitute organist positions are welcomed to audition.  Services are held on Sunday mornings from 10:00 to 11:00 am. 

Church service includes playing a Prelude, 3 hymns from The Christian Science Hymnal, solo accompanied by organ, Offering and Postlude.

Webster Hills United Methodist Church, St. Louis, MO is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Organist/Accompanist. We seek a person who can contribute to a dynamic music ministry that helps our church attract and welcome those into Christian worship, as well as empower those with gifts for music ministry live out the fullness of their discipleship. Primary responsibilities of this position include accompanying the music ministry during Sunday morning worship and special services throughout the year. Webster Hills United Methodist Church is a multi-generational blended family of God's people who share faith and life together. Our community has been a prominent landmark on the corner of Berry and Lockwood since 1932. The organist/accompanist is a member of the ministry staff of the church, and is supervised by the Director of Music Ministry and the Lead Pastor. St. Paul United Church of Christ,  200 N. Main St., Waterloo, IL 62298 is seeking a music director.  The Music Director fulfills a key leadership role on the staff team producing all music for use in worship and other venues in the life of the church. The Music Director reports to the Senior Pastor. The Music Director supervises all musical staff of the church. The Music Director relates with the Worship Review Committee, the Technology Committee, the Fine Arts Team, the Contemporary Service Planning Group, and all other ad hoc music and worship planning teams.

The position of Music Director requires the services of a professional musician, well versed in classical, traditional and contemporary church music, evidenced by appropriate experience and education. The Music Director needs to demonstrate competence in teaching and conducting music with people of different musical skill sets and ages, expanding the musical repertoire of the church. The Music Director needs to possess good management skills with respect to people, program and time. The Music Director must articulate a comprehensive and cohesive vision for the entire church musical program, as well as specific vision for its individual components.

Faith Lutheran Church, O’Fallon, Illinois, is seeking an organist to serve as a partner in mission.  Playing responsibilities would include:

  • Two liturgical services per Sunday
  • Two services on Christmas Eve
  • One service each on Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday; and, mid-week services during Advent and Lent
  • Accompany the 50-member Senior Choir
  • Non-liturgical accompaniment for such things as Jazzfest, Polkafest, and Mardi Gras
