There’s been an increase in the number of “Likes.” Twelve hundred saw the ad for tonight’s event. Fifty dollars per event was approved, at the last meeting, to advertise each Chapter event.

Finance Committee Report: Still in the process of transitioning the Fidelity Account back to the checking account.

Old Business: The revision of the Operating Procedures is complete and presented at tonight’s meeting.  It will be sent to membership first for approval and then to National.  Mark will ask       Thomashower about membership per procedures on page 1, Section III A. Mike K. seconded motion and it was unanimously approved. Note:  The previously tabled motion on “open positions” was addressed in the revised Operating Procedures.

The Fundraiser committee will be a sub-committee of the Programming Committee.

New Business: Stephen J. presented a proposal for the Chapter to consider a phone App. It includes: membership directory which includes phone numbers, e-addresses, photos, etc; link to local and national web sites, message board and Chat room, alerts for special events, photo gallery. Advantage is that it is easily available on your phone and a information can be sent directly to your phone instead of waiting for an email. The app is created y GROUPAHEAD. Cost depending on the size of the organization ranges $37 – $75. Rene and Brent will check on the viability of the App for our chapter. Suggestion made to show it to James Thomashower to see if National would be interested or if National has the same capabilities. The proposal was tabled for further analysis.
