Call to Order: Dean Dawn Riske called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm.
Review of the Minutes: Suzanne motioned and Mark seconded to approve the January minutes with revision of correction on attendance – Suzanne was listed in both present and absent and should only be listed as absent for the March 7th meeting. Minutes, with correction, were approved unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report: Bill Aitken motioned and Jeff seconded to approve the treasurer’s report.
Dean’s Report: Dawn discussed election processes and recommended that, beginning next year, the Board election nominees be secured by January 15th so information can be placed in the February OPUS with voting to be completed in March and results to be reported no later than the April Executive Board Meeting.
Sub-Dean Report: Burnell, as incoming Sub-Dean, will assist with finalizing the upcoming 2016-2017 Program.
Registrar’s report and Exam Coordinator’s Report: Tabled this month
OPUS Newsletter: May issue will be 12 pages and it is full. The election results and Avis Blewett winner will be included.
Social Media Coordinator: https://www.facebook.com/agostlouis. Facebook has made advertising easier. Mark will send out an introductory letter as part of communication. Facebook is paid out of a PayPal account. Some form of paperwork is needed to know what’s been paid. Rene continues to look for ways through the media for more effective communication processes.
Finance Committee Members: Dennis York, Jeff White, Mike Kaberline, Kathleen Bolduan will be working particularly on the Fidelity Reserve Account.
Old Business: Update on Parish Based Music Schools–Collaboration with Martin Jean. The information is listed in the May OPUS. The event will be held on Saturday, May 14th at Parkway UCC 2841 North Ballas Road 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Register on-line at Yale University. The link is on Event Bright.
Chairpersons would be needed for a future January Jubilee 2017 and/or Pipe Organ or Pipe Organ Plus Encounter.
The cost of King of Instruments radio show funding of $5200 for the year to RAF plus Organ Media Foundation Expenses have been covered by weekly sponsorships. The shows are covered into 2017. (Clarification of this from Brent states: “The radio show has been guaranteed by the Guild to be on the air through the first Sunday of February, 2017. We only have paid sponsors through June, and pledged Sponsors into August” of 2016.
Elections: Cathy reported this year’s election results. Dean: Mark Scholtz: Sub-Dean: Burnell Hackman; Treasurer: Mike Kaberline; Class of 2019: Ted Cronbaugh, John Hawn, Mary Hitchcock-Rinehart. 58% of the members voted (24% through the mail; 34% on-line).
Dawn will ask Stephen Jones to complete Burnell’s remaining 2 year position on the Board as Burnell moves into the Sub-Dean position.
Dawn thanked the class of 2016 Board Members as they complete their term of office on June 30th: Stephen Eros, Suzanne Manelli, Rene Zajner; and treasurer Dennis York for his many years of service, noting he is welcome at all Board meetings.
Bill Wade, past Dean, thanked Dawn for all she’s done during her term as Dean.
Avis Blewett – Mark Scholtz, as chairman, brought forth the Avis Blewett committee’s nomination of Andy Peters. The Board unanimously approved.
New Business: The chapter will send the annual $100 contribution to National. Bill Wade will be the chapter’s representative at the AGO Convention in Houston. The chapter will provide him a $500.00 flat fee as representative.
A review of the Chapter Operating Procedures will take place in June, a during the day- lunch meeting. Dawn will send out the Link to google-docs. Committee members include: Dawn, Bill Wade, Phillip, Cathy Cassy, Mark, and Rene. Possible changes/additions mentioned: Open Positions procedures may need to be included with deadlines for length of posting, i.e. 30 days; election procedures/deadlines; open meetings vs. closed;

Resolutions for: Henry Glass – 60 years as member of AGO
Joan Buschmann — St. Louis AGO Caterer for 25 years.
Phillip motioned to adjourn the meeting and Jeff seconded. All approved and meeting adjourned at 6:30
