Call to Order: Dean Dawn Riske called the meeting to order at 5:34 pm.


Review of the Minutes: Minutes of the August 25th meeting were unanimously approved with a motion from Jeff White and seconded by Andy Peters.


Treasurer’s Report: Not available at this meeting as Dennis was collecting money for the program night dinners.

Dean’s Report: 25-30 attended the opening Evensong at Christ Church Cathedral. The Board members were Special Guests and were asked to be included in the opening procession. Mary Beth Wittry played the opening. It was a great event.

Dawn spoke and asked for ideas to make the organ more relevant. How can we promote it more?

Sub-Dean Report:

Flyers promoting this year’s events are finished thanks to Stephen Eros. Reminder of the lecture series at Second Presbyterian and the November 7th Fundraiser at Scottish Rite Cathedral. Dennis made sure all is paid.

Registrar: For the record, Brent stated that Rene Zajner is taking over handling all web and social media responsibilities. Brent continues as Registrar.

Social Media: https://www.facebook.com/agostlouis. 148 Likes on Facebook- previously there were 137. Rene’s vision is to bring AGO forward Include pictures of the Board Members with biographies and link it to the website. Discussion took place on type of contact info to include. There was a consensus that the webmaster have permission to list the profiles information for On-Line Media. Individuals can include as much information as they want. Rene’s listed all upcoming AGO events. He will have a calendar on which events can be added. He will put an article in the OPUS which includes information about our facebook and website.

OPUS Newsletter: Nancy reported that one member did not receive the OPUS. This will be corrected. She discussed the purpose of the OPUS, in that it is a service to the members and to the advertisers. Reminding all that advertisers are not listed on the website version of the OPUS. The number of current advertisers pays for the printing costs. More than 1 week is needed to get the newsletter out on time. Upon discussion of what should be the deadline, it was agreed to get the information to Nancy by October 15th. Brent will have the labels ready as soon as needed.

Old Business: Andy reported on the Regional Convention. It is only 8 months away. Registration is now online. The Fundraiser is in full preparation for November 7th. A convention registration will be offered as one of the Silent Auction Bids. The budget is approximately $85,000 for the Convention. Committee and chapter members have donated approximately $8,000. Our goal is to have 150 registrants.

A sign should be made for the tables at the Fundraiser to read Check’s should be made payable to: St. Louis AGO 2015 Regional Convention.

The draft copy of the 2015 Operating Procedures was approved, after one change in Section XIV, by a motion from Jeff White and seconded by Stephen Eros. The change entails that the Past Dean will serve as ex-officio on the Executive Committee for one year after leaving office rather than 2 years. Revisions or changes should be made to the Operating Procedures every two years.

New Business:

Horst checked on possibilities for banners. He will look into one for the chapter and one for the Convention. Possible dimensions 3’ x 5’.

Horst and Brent will check on the chapter colors for the banner. Discussion on the timing of the yearbook and all information to be in to Al Black.

Meeting adjourned at 6:30 so all could attend the Dinner and Presentation by Hans Leitner.

June 30, 2015 – Refile Tax Exempt forms 990-N

2016 – Review of Operating Procedures for 2017.
