Call to Order:  HE called the meeting to order at 7:02 PM

Review of Minutes:  Minutes of February 7, 2011 meeting were approved with a motion by Dawn Riske and seconded by Dennis York. 

Treasurer’s Report:  There is a balance of $20,215.42 in our account.

 Dean’s Report:  David Ball and Jenny Bauer placed first and second in the recent  AGO regional competition in Kansas City.  The February 25th meeting/concert by Clive Driskell was very well attended with a most enjoyable reception which followed. The invitations went out to invite prospective new members to attend the March 28 meeting/dinner/concert with Michael Burkhardt. 

Sub-Dean’s/Program Committee Report:  The upcoming March 28th Hymn Festival is set.  A few more children’s voices could be used since one of the choirs dropped out.  The 2011-2012 Program Schedule is well on its way to being finalized with only a location or two to be verified. Paul Jacobs will be performing in St. Charles on March 27 at First United Methodist Church, 801 First Capitol Drive – 3:00 pm.  

Committee and Special Services Reports:
OPUS Newsletter: Final issue for this year.  Deadline is April 8.  Janet Spencer sent her report that there are 4 nominees for the openings on the Executive Board.  Wayne will print the ballots so nominee names should be sent to him. Henry and David Erwin will mail them out.   

Old Business:  Dennis York sent National dues.

Awards for May Banquet
Discussion took place on additional awards to be presented such as AGO Service Awards and Outstanding Student recognition. Wayne will make the plaques. 

All agreed to present AGO Service Awards to Wayne King for all his work on the newsletter and creating plaques and to Al and Fern Black for their long-time volunteer service.

Outstanding Student recognition will be awarded to David Ball.

Blewett Award Winner:  Voted in unanimously as the 2011 Blewett Awardee is Robert Ray, noted St. Louis composer, conductor, lecturer, professor at University of Missouri St. Louis.
